Garmin has expanded the Garmin Connect badge system with 27 brand-new golf badges. Golfers finally have their own badge category — ranging from beginner milestones to challenging score targets for seasoned players.

Getting Started on the Course

Just beginning to track your golf game in Garmin Connect? These two badges are waiting for you right away:

First SwingTrack your first shot on a golf course.Welcome to the ClubLog your first golf round.

Time of Day Badges: Early Bird or Twilight Golfer?

These two badges reward unusual tee times:

TwilightFinish a round between 6 and 8 PM.Dew SweeperTee off between 5:30 and 7:30 AM.

Dew Sweeper is yours if you tee off between 5:30 and 7:30 AM — when the course is barely touched. Twilight unlocks when you finish a round between 6 and 8 PM.

Putting Badges

Two badges focused on the short game:

No 3-PuttsRecord 2 or fewer putts on every green in a round.Hot PutterTake fewer than 30 putts in an 18-hole round.

Score Goals: 9-Hole Rounds

For players looking to sharpen their scoring on the short course:

Break 30Score under 30 in a 9-hole round.Break 40Score under 40 in a 9-hole round.Break 50Score under 50 in a 9-hole round.Break 60 on 9Score under 60 in a 9-hole round.

Score Goals: 18-Hole Rounds

The classic challenge — from Break 120 for beginners to Break 70 for advanced players:
