The Zombie Badge is arguably the most unique badge in all of Garmin Connect. Unlike every other badge, you don't earn it through a fitness goal or a specific activity – you earn it through infection.
What Is the Zombie Badge?
The concept is brilliantly simple: the Zombie Badge spreads from person to person through Garmin Connect Challenges. If someone who already has the badge starts a challenge with you (or accepts one from you), you can catch the badge yourself.
Once you have it, you become a carrier – and can spread it to others. It works exactly like a zombie virus, spreading virally through the Garmin Connect community.
This means you can't get the badge by training alone. You need someone who already has it and is willing to run a challenge with you.
How to Get the Zombie Badge: Step by Step
- Find someone in the Garmin Connect community who already has the Zombie Badge
- Start a Garmin Connect Challenge together (steps, activity minutes, or similar)
- Complete the challenge
- The badge will automatically appear in your collection
The key is simply participating in a challenge with a current badge holder – you pass the badge on to each other.
